from the ground up
For Leah Taylor, the founder of Taylor & Co Mortgage
Specialists Ltd, the journey into the mortgage and
protection industry began in 2012, with little to no
experience and no roadmap for where it might lead.
Leah learned the industry step by step, steadily building
expertise whilst climbing through the ranks. Across the
years, she trained and managed a team of processors,
quali昀椀ed as a mortgage adviser, expanded into equity
release, and has continued to add new strings to her bow.
Leah’s biggest milestone arrived in February 2025, when
she took the bold step of launching Taylor & Co Mortgage
Specialists Ltd, a business built entirely from the ground
up, and one rooted in her passion for providing clear,
compassionate advice.
Choosing a network
When Leah started Taylor & Co, she left behind
